A 10.22-kg rock used as a barn doorstop on a Michigan farm for decades has been confirmed as an iron meteorite from the IIIAB group. Found after a reported 1939 fall near Edmore, the rock was identified by Central Michigan University and later studied by the Smithsonian Institution.
