Bartlesville, Oklahoma Mar 16, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - This year the Center of arts, community, and events turns forty years old. In celebration
of its RUBY Anniversary, several free events are being planned for the public to enjoy,
both indoors and out.

For 40 years, the Center, and now Unity Square, have been the center of Bartlesville, where persons of every age could find something that would be of interest. With over one thousand scheduled events per year, these two venues attract visitors from many areas of Oklahoma and Kansas as well as other states.

"We do everything from hosting chamber forum events to fundraisers for a number of nonprofit groups, as well as family events like weddings and reunions," said Val Callaghan, managing director. Then we have our resident presenting arts groups who rent our acoustically superior performance hall for their concerts and performances. Seven performance arts organizations call the BCC home, including the Bartlesville
Choral Society, Bartlesville Civic Ballet, Bartlesville Community Concert Association, Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, Children's Musical Theatre, OKM Music, and Broadway in Bartlesville! Each of these groups presented new line-ups for the 2021-
2022 season and will soon roll out their seasons for 2022-2023.

"During 2022, the Center plans to offer several complementary event experiences to the public." Callaghan said. The first event is Forever Young which will be held indoors.
The production is a story that follows one unforgettable group of friends as they discover the greatest hits of all time! Set in a music-filled suburban basement, this unbelievable heartfelt true story is guaranteed to take you back to the first time you pushed play, tuned in, and set the needle down.

Later this spring, the Center will feature an evening of bluegrass at Unity Square followed by the "Sizzlin' Summer Series", a monthly outdoor concert series that runs from June through August on the outdoor stage. And finally, before the resident arts groups return to the Marie Foster Performing Arts Hall inside the Center, for their new seasons, enjoy a night of Jazz on the Plazz, outdoor music, and art experience. Callaghan said, "As we move into our fourth decade of exciting performances and
community events, I would like the community to know that we are ready and open for business! It really all comes back to the many faithful supporters, renters, and ticket holders. Special thanks to the citizens of Bartlesville for their support during the past forty years. Moving forward, please give our local economy and arts groups a boost!

You can do this by buying tickets to events, renting the BCC or Unity Square, and giving a little extra to your favorite arts organization. In doing so, together, we can keep the
arts alive in Bartlesville." Check out TICKETsage Inc. Box Office Solutions [ Bartlesville ]
