And unlike the parking lot environment offered at most storage facilities, individual units provide additional protection from possible damage caused by neighboring vehicles.
At HD Indoor Storage, clients are in control of their space. Owner access is not limited by facility hours or valet availability. They park and lock vehicles in their private garage. Each space is equipped with its own 15 amp service, fire monitoring and optional radiant heat. Standard width for individual bays start at 15 feet and range from 20 to 50 feet long.
A frequent request from vehicle owners is “more space”.
“We really didn’t want to compromise here,” says Dishler. “We really wanted to deliver. And in starting from the beginning we were able to take advantage of some of the latest building technologies.” The HD Indoor Storage Facility is engineered to create custom space configurations to best fit client needs. Modular walls allow for units to be combined to offer a drive-through unit 80 feet long. Adjacent units can be combined to create a 30 foot wide space to house multiple cars, boats and more.
Catering to the requests of RV, boat and collectible car owners, brought the addition of practical amenities not found at most storage facilities: a waste water gravity dump station, a tire air station and a vacuum station.
In addition to being in a desirable location in regards to access, HD Indoor Storage is within a half hour of several boat and RV dealer and service providers. There has been significant interest among these businesses for the arrival of the facility. It helps them address customer needs nearby.

Given overall interest, HD Indoor Storage has decided to move forward in two construction phases. Phase I is underway with 35 storage units available in September 2017. Phase II will then follow with planned an expansion to a total of over 90 units after this year.
