United Global Buildings (UGB) is awarded new pre-engineered metal building expansion facility project for Ben Hokum and Son Ltd. This expansion will consist of 3 new pre-engineered metal buildings being erected around an existing facility.

According to the contract, UGB will design and supply a secondary supporting structure, composed of pre-engineered steel structural elements, as part of the upgrade of Ben Hokum’s existing manufacturing facility in Killaloe, Ontario.

This expansion project is a fast-track, multi-phase undertaking with complex existing building obstacles and requirements and a challenging timeframe that will require an exceptional level of attention to detail. This project will commence in 2 phases with the first, Building A to be delivered in the beginning to middle of June 2018. Phase 2 will consist of Buildings B and C which will deliver approximately 4 weeks after phase 1. Extreme care and consideration will be undertaken to impose minimal to zero impact on regular plant operations during this facilities upgrade project.
