Spiritual Leader Publishes Workbook for Bible Study

Aberdeen, United States - January 12, 2018 /NewsNetwork/ —

Michael Dorsey spiritual growth leader and owner of Malakim Press is offering his workbook on how to study the bible. Michael a 20 year veteran to spiritual studies started writing books several years ago. Michael says “The workbook is meant to be a study guide for the Bible. There’s no reason you can’t become a skilled Bible student in your own right. Just take the exercises revealed in this workbook and apply them to the parts of the Bible that interest you the most. Once you start becoming proficient at Bible study, God will bless your determination with fresh insights and revelation from the treasures of His Word.”

Rev. Michael Dorsey recalls that as a young boy in Sunday School, they would sometimes compete in a game called Sword Drills. This game taught children how to find their way around the Bible quickly. This game became the inspiration for the title of this workbook. Rev. Michael Dorsey continued saying that “The book began as part of a 4-week course I taught at Riverside Church in the summer of 2013.”

Reverend Dorsey recalls that the original course covered information about the Bible, Bible study tools, and Bible study methods. That material is all included in the book How To Study Your Bible. The students also did hands-on exercises during the class to learn the various different Bible study methods. Those exercises have been expanded to create the Sword Drills workbook.

How to Study the Bible Workbook Workbook will answer all of the questions about the meaning of Bible verses, and what they are meant to teach you through Verse studies. Also how to read the Bible daily consistently with a unique plan to read the Bible through every year. And how to gain an overview of Bible books as well as the entire Bible through survey studies.

Judge asked to keep public away from ex-nuke weapons plant

Jul 18, 2018

DENVER — A retired professor testified Tuesday he found evidence that billions of particles of plutonium had escaped from a former nuclear weapons plant in Colorado and settled on land that is now a wildlife refuge, raising concerns about whether the site is safe for the public. But an attorney for the federal government countered that the study was done in the mid-1970s, and that the Environmental Protection Agency determined years later that the site was safe. The exchange was part of a hearing in federal court over whether the public should be allowed onto Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge...

Iceberg looming over Greenland village spotted from space

Jul 18, 2018

BERLIN — An iceberg that drifted perilously close to a remote Greenland village is so big it can be seen from space. The European Space Agency released an image Tuesday showing the giant iceberg just off the coast of Innaarsuit. Dozens of village residents were evacuated to higher ground last week due to concerns the 11 million-ton iceberg might break apart and produce waves large enough to wash away low-lying buildings. The image captured July 9 by ESA's Sentinel-2 satellites shows several other large icebergs in the vicinity. Separately, Greenland's broadcaster KNR published video taken by a local resident showing...

BERLIN — An iceberg that has drifted perilously close to a remote Greenland village is so big it can be seen from space. The European Space Agency released an image Tuesday showing the giant iceberg just off the coast of Innaarsuit in northwestern Greenland. Dozens of residents were evacuated to higher ground last week due to concerns that the 11 million-ton iceberg could break apart, creating high waves that could wash away coastal buildings. The image captured July 9 by ESA's Sentinel-2 satellites also shows several other large icebergs in the vicinity. Separately, Greenland broadcaster KNR published a video taken...

EPA proposal to limit science studies draws opposition

Jul 18, 2018

WASHINGTON — Democratic lawmakers joined scores of scientists, health providers, environmental officials and activists Tuesday in denouncing an industry-backed proposal that could limit dramatically the scientific studies the Environmental Protection Agency considers in shaping protections for human health. If adopted by the Trump administration, the rule would allow an EPA administrator to reject study results in making decisions about chemicals, pollutants and other health risks if underlying research data is not made public because of patient privacy concerns or other issues. Opponents said the move would throw out the kind of public-health studies that underlie enforcement of the Clean Air...

Jupiter's moon count reaches 79, including tiny 'oddball'

Jul 18, 2018

NEW YORK — Astronomers are still finding moons at Jupiter, 400 years after Galileo used his spyglass to spot the first ones. The latest discovery of a dozen small moons brings the total to 79, the most of any planet in our solar system. Scientists were looking for objects on the fringes of the solar system last year when they pointed their telescopes close to Jupiter's backyard, according to Scott Sheppard of the Carnegie Institute for Science in Washington. They saw a new group of objects moving around the giant gas planet but didn't know whether they were moons or...
