Samsung Pushes Android 10 Update For Galaxy A50s Smartphones In India

Samsung has pushed out an Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update for the Samsung Galaxy A50s smartphones in India.

The OS update, arriving with build number BTB2 and bundled with the latest February 2020 security patch, has been provided Over The Air (OTA) on the device.The latest Software Version is A507FNXXU3BTB2 / A507FNODM3BTB3 / A507FNXXU3BTB2 with a size of 1649.17 MB.

Among the new features that the Android 10 update brings include the following:

One UI 2 upgrade with Android 10: The Android 10 update is coupled with One UI 2. The Apps like Calculator, Samsung Health need to be updated separately after the OS upgrade.Dark Mode: Samsung brings a system-wide dark mode with this update while claiming to enhance image, text and colour adjustments for day and night environments. Clearer App Icons: The System colours and application icons, as well as the layouts for titles and buttons, have been improved to eliminate wasted screen space. Full-Screen Gestures: New navigation gestures have also found a place in this latest update from Samsung.

The Android 10 update is also claimed to provide smoother animations, enhanced One-Handed mode, accessibility improvements, better text over wallpapers. Moreover, Android Auto comes preloaded with the new update.

The update size is large enough and using mobile data to download the OTA update is not recommended especially if you have subscribed to a limited data plan. Using Wi-Fi is, therefore, recommended.

How To Download Android 10 On Samsung A50s To download the update, open the Settings app on your Samsung A50s.Scroll down and touch the Software Update option.Touch Download and Install option. The software update will show up as soon as the phone connects to one of the Samsung servers.You will have two options – “Later” and “Download”. Touch the Download button for downloading the update immediately.

Pertinently, the Android 10-based firmware for the Galaxy A50s has already been made available by Samsung in countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines.

Although Samsung has continued to unveil some of its best smartphones yet, like the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the smartphone giant hasn’t let down the users of its older devices.
